Los datos están por todos lados, hasta dentro de nosotros mismos. Dominic Szablewski de PhobosLab recopiló datos sobre sus hábitos de sueño y analizó cuál era el patrón que había detrás de ellos.
¿Cómo lo hizo? En sus palabras:
Desde hace unos diez años que acostumbro encender mi PC cuando llego del colegio o trabajo y lo apago justo antes de irme a la cama. Asi que la mayoría del tiempo en que mi PC está encendido, estoy despierto. Además he estado dando vueltas en IRC desde que tengo Internet – si mi PC está corriendo, también lo hace mi cliente de IRC.
Para procesar los datos, usó los logs de su cliente IRC y con un script PHP extrajo lo necesario para generar gráficos por día y hora, que permiten identificar patrones. Notable.
