Cuando eres amante de la música y le has dado prioridad a una banda por mucho tiempo, te preguntas si habrá alguna que tenga un estilo similar o que haga algo diferente pero manteniendo el estilo. ¿Te gustaría saber que bandas están en la misma línea que aquella que tanto gustas?… Para eso existe TuneGlue.
TuneGlue es tan simple de entender como de visualizar. Partes en la barra de búsqueda ingresando el nombre de la banda que quieres. Luego, haces click en el ícono al lado del nombre de la agrupación y tienes opciones de expandir los artistas relacionados y los últimos lanzamientos, entre otras.
La plataforma además utiliza el criterio del Audioscrobbler de Last-FM y la posibilidad de hacer compras del material encontrado vía Amazon, sumándole puntos y transformándolo en un excelente Mash-Up.
Existe otro visualizador de bandas (Con muchas más opciones) llamado LivePlasma, pero evaluando sus resultados, no puedes comparar a Deathspell Omega con Wu Tang Clan (Black Metal relacionado con Hip Hop… no da seriedad)
No se arrepentirán, de vez en cuando, hay que darle en el gusto al oído con nuevas melodías. En resumen… una buena forma de mapear conexiones de estilos y expandir tu universo musical.
