Ha terminado Big Bang Data 2010

4 intensos meses de trabajo nos separan del primer día que empezamos con la idea de hacer este seminario, meses en donde pensamos, organizamos, imaginamos y planificamos lo que sucedió hoy.
Estamos felices pero cansados, estamos tan satisfechos como impresionados. Antes de descansar por un par de días para luego volver a ordenar y publicar el material que obtuvimos queremos agradecer,realmente de corazón a quienes hicieron posible este evento:
- A Telefónica por ponerse con el que posiblemente sea el mejor auditorio de Chile
- A Nescafé por ponerse no solo con el break sino también con un café de bienvenida
- A Academia Mac-PC por regalar no uno ni dos sino tres cursos a nuestros asistentes
- A PuebloHost que demostraron una disposición y habilidad impresionante para llevarle el evento por streaming a todo el mundo
- A Ubiqq por hacer todo lo posible para que nuestra apuesta más jugada funcione, gracias por el esfuerzo
- A Arquitectura Librería por permitirnos regalarle croqueras a nuestros asistentes
- A la Universidad de Chile por darnos el apoyo, gracias también a las personas que nos facilitaron los trámites, a los que hicieron que la Chile funcione como todos esperamos que funcione.
Aún más fuerte el abrazo para las personas que nos dieron una mano:
- A Juan Carlos Camus por jugársela desde el el día uno por Big Bang Data
- A Eduardo Hamuy por su apoyo en los trámites dentro de la Universidad
- A Mario Rojas que nos dió una mano con las visuales del evento
- A Pancho Rojas por ir al sacrificio y quedarse de portero aunque no le correspondía
- A Carlos Valdés y Gustavo Astorga, quienes nos ayudaron a superar la emergencia en la acreditación
- A Christian Oyarzún por darnos una completa mirada a la visualización de datos desde la experimentación
- A Sheila Pontis por tener la mejor de las disposiciones a pesar de las dificultades técnicas y por comprometerse a mandarnos su charla para que nadie se quede sin su visión sobre el diseño de información
- A Paulo Saavedra por no solo hacer una muy interesante presentación (con primicia incluída) sino también aceptar (con gusto) la quizás no tan grata tarea de representar en estas lides al gobierno
- A Rodrigo Duarte por acercarnos con palabras simples a lo más árido de la visualización de datos
- A Herbert Spencer por aportarnos con una mirada desde los desafíos de la educación hacia la visualización de datos
- A Mario Saavedra por darnos su visión desde el hacer, o mejor aún, desde el hacer en períodos de catástrofe
- A Rodrigo Ramírez por sus intervenciones que nos llenan de inspiración y nuevos desafíos
Un gracias enorme para:
- Los que se levantaron tempranito un frío día sábado de Julio para venir a conversar, aprender y discutir sobre visualización de datos. A los que se mamaron una cola que en momentos llegó hasta Baquedano. Muchas gracias a nuestros asistentes.
- A los que nos vieron por internet mediante el streaming o a los que nos siguieron por Twitter o Facebook

- Un agradecimiento especial para mi ayudante/amigo Jacob Bustamante, gracias socio, tu aporte fue muy importante para el proyecto.
- Y para el final, unas tremendas felicitaciones y un aún mayor agradecimiento para mis cabros, a todos los estudiantes de Taller Multitask que demostraron que hoy no tenían entrega de taller, que no estaban buscando notas, que tenían objetivos más grandes que esos, que querían hacer no solo un seminario, sino el mejor seminario que pudieran lograr.
